One year on: Ahmed Suale yet to receive justice as Family makes demands

The family of the investigator with Tiger Eye PI Ahmed Hussein Suale who was slain about a year ago has expressed disappointment in government institutions especially the security agencies over their failure to find his killers.

According to the family, the murder of their dead relative has not been given the needed attention and justice per the law, stating that the case has not received much seriousness almost a year after the incident.

Speaking to Citinews, brother of the deceased, Ibrahim Kamilu Tahidu expressed the frustration of the family, as they feel ignored after such an incident which required punishment meted out to perpetrators.

“In fact, the family is very disappointed in the security service and the government itself. It looks like they are not interested in the case. After all the noise, have you heard of anything again? And have you heard of any government official discussing it again?

Even, the Attorney General could not remember the date my brother was assassinated in Parliament. Doesn’t that alone ring a bell that the government is not interested in our case?” he asked.

He stated that the family would hold some activities to commemorate Ahmed Suale’s one year of passing.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that A key member of Anas Aremeyaw Anas' Tiger Eye Private Investigations team, Ahmed Hussein-Suale, was shot dead in 2019.

According to the report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Graphic Online, the deceased was shot three times, twice in the chest and another in the neck late Wednesday night, January, 16, 2019 at Madina in Accra while he was driving home by unidentified men on a motorbike.

A disheveled Anas confirmed the sad development and loss of a core team member and a brother, to Graphic Online, hardly able to compose himself.
