From the moment I landed to Ghana the devil was at work, it seemed like my main purpose of coming to Ghana was never going to happen but through and through I reminded myself of Jeremiah 29:11, I lost faith at times because as a human you never see what the Lord has in store but y’all when I tell you that when God has a plan or purpose for you, nothing or nobody can change that not even yourself, today was pure evidence of it,'' Joana VanBoven said.

Under the auspices of Health is Wealth, VanBoven, together with her friends, visited Dawatrim in the Eastern region, a community without lights or running clean water to spend the day with natives.

VanBoven is currently pursuing further studies to reach her goal of becoming a Physician Assistant.
