Senator Bernie Sanders has come out in support of the rapper becoming a politician.

Senator Sanders told TMZ, "Cardi B is deeply concerned about what’s happening in the country."

“She knows what it’s like to live in poverty and struggle, and it would be great for her to bring that experience to politics."

Cardi B made a post on the meeting with the top senator saying:

In other foreign political news, Entire Russian government has resigned ahead of a massive constitutional shake-up by President Vladimir Putin.
