Cristiano Ronaldo singlehandedly inspired Juventus to victory over stubborn Parma in a tough Italian League clash at the Allianz Stadium last weekend.
The 34-year-old forward scored a goal in either half to help the Old Lady record a 2-1 win and also open a four points gap over Inter Milan on the table.
His first goal came just two minutes before half time before completing his brace in the 58th minute which stretched their points to 51 after 20 topflight matches.
The Portuguese forward has now become the second Juve player in history to score in seven consecutive Serie A games after David Trezeguet in December 2005.
Ronaldo's brace in yesterday's fixture took his Italian League goals this campaign to 16 goals in just 17 appearances.
The former Real Madrid superstar has also assisted two other goals in the process while scoring two additional goals in the first six Champions League games this campaign.
According to Goal.com, Ronaldo became the fifth Juventus star to record 16 goals in his first 20 Serie A games, since Omar Sivori became the first to achieve the feat in 1960.
The publication added that Portugal international has recorded 414 league goals for Manchester United, Real Madri and Juventus since he rose into prominence in the 2006-07 season.
He is the most successful player in the history of the Champions League having won five titles in the history of the competition - one more than his bitter rival, Lionel Messi.
