In other news, a 22-year-old level 300 student of the University of Cape Coast identified as Simeon Cephas Andoh Dadzie has been arrested by the Sekondi police for kidnapping an 18-year-old Senior High School student.

According to, the young girl from Methodist Senior High School in Sekondi whose name has been withheld was lured to the suspect's hostel through Facebook.

Reports indicate that a group of angry youth who got leads about the development read through the Facebook conversations of the two individuals and concluded that the girl might be with the suspect.

They visited the Cape Coast University and the particular hostel. After meeting Cephas, the group indicated that he claimed no knowledge of the girl or her whereabouts.
