Mayweather to charge fans £150 who want selfies with him in UK

- It is understood that the billionaire sportsman will lodge in a £35 three-star low budget hotel

- Fans have reacted on Twitter to the charges the American boxer is splashing for his visit

Floyd Mayweather is on the news again as his proposed tour of the United Kingdom in March that would see him charge fans £150 (over GHC1,000) to have a selfie with him.

The undefeated boxer who has a record of 50-0 will also lodge in a three-star hotel in Blackpool which costs just £35-per-night.

According The Sun, the low budget comfort zone has been voted as the worst in the United Kingdom's hotel chain.

Mayweather who is also regarded as the Money Man is preferring Blackpool for the bright lights of Las Vegas in his Legendary Icon Tour.

Despite earning between $700m-$1billion in his glittering career, the 42-year-old will be charging fans who are willing to take photographs with him.

It is understood that the event in Blackpool will see tables charged for a whopping £2,500 while a VIP Gold table for 12 costs £1,800.

The four-division weight champion's visit with all the charges attached to events he would be attending has come as a huge surprise to many.

One fan expressed himself on Twitter saying: "Who told Floyd Blackpool is similar to Vegas?"

Another fan could hide his dissatisfaction: "I can't for the life of me believe that Floyd Mayweather is going to Blackpool, seriously?"

A third fan added: "I see you are coming to Blackpool, you do realise they say it's the Vegas of the north... can't wait until you realise it's not."

Mayweather who is reportedly looking for a rematch with Connor Mcgregor will also be visiting in Derby, Essex, London, Cardiff, Glasgow, Sheffield and Newcastle on his tour.
