A very close friend of Castro, Funny Face, has declared that the musician is not dead.
According to Funny Face, Castro is “hiding at his base” and is sure to return by the close of this year.
He was speaking in an interview contained in a video seen by YEN.com.gh.
Asked if he had been in touch with Castro lately, Funny Face said no, however, he is of the strong belief that Castro is still alive.
Asked again if he was not giving Ghanaians false hope as was being done by other friends of Castro, Funny Face said no, and that he was sure of what he was saying.

Castro, also known as Under Fire, went missing in 2014 when he went to Ada on a recreational tour with Asamoah Gyan and others.
He was said to have gone cruising with his girlfriend Janet Bandu, but they never returned within the time expected of them.
A search was mounted at sea, and sadly, the Jetski Castro and Bandu were cruising on was found without them.
Many search parties for their whereabouts were in futility as till date, nothing has been heard about Castro.
According to the laws of Ghana, it is deemed fit to declare Castro dead and his funeral held next year – the seventh year if he does not return.
Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh reportedly earlier that the father of Janet Bandu died sadly after he suffered shock since his daughter was declared missing with Castro.
