Houseboy attempts to poison employer's family after he lost GHC11,500 to fraudsters (video)

A young house-help identified as Uche Soroibe has allegedly been caught trying to poison his employer and his family with an insecticide. The young man is from Ideato area of Imo state.

The house-help was caught on camera confessing to his crime after he was caught. He revealed that this attempt was the third time he tried to kill his boss and his family members with the insecticide.

According to Soroibe, he lost his boss' N750,000 (GHC11,500) to fraudsters and decided that his only solution was to kill his employer and his family.

Soroibe had lied that he wanted to take his life with the insecticide but after being interrogated further, he revealed the truth to them.

He said that the fraudsters met him at a bus stop in Oyingbo area of Lagos stated and they told him to give them the money. He said they claimed that they would refund the money after using it for their business

The house-help revealed that on his first attempt to kill the family nothing happened to them and the second time his boss' wife found out and threw the soup he prepared away.
