Ghana's Dancehall icon Shatta Wale has stated he destroyed his plush car when he heard about the death of basketball star Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Maria-Onore.
According to him, he damaged the $70,000 because he felt that he cannot send his riches along with him when he dies someday.
The 'Melissa' hitmaker disclosed that he started playing basketball because of Kobe Bryant.
In an Instagram post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Wale said we are all not taking our riches anywhere when we are dead.

"Me playing basketball was from this Great Legend ..RIP #Kobe. F!”*kit, we ain’t taking all this anywhere. RIP #kobe #LEGEND. When I heard #Kobe crashed Gosh gosh ..his 13yr old data too mcheeeewww!!. RIP legend !!!," he posted.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Former Los Angeles Lakers basketball star, Kobe Bryant recently passed on after he was involved in a helicopter crash in Calabasas on the morning of January 26, 2020.
According to reports, the crash took alongside him, 8 others including his daughter Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant.
The cause of the crash is said to be under investigation.
According to eyewitness reports, the helicopter's engine could be heard sputtering before it went crashing.
Several social media users have started throwing in their tributes to celebrate the NBA legend and his daughter. Sheikh Osman Dembele posted saying leaving home and getting back safely is a blessing.
