Beautiful Ghanaian lady quits her 8 to 5 job to become a photographer

YEN.com.gh has learned that a young photographer known as Sharon Okai, quit her office job to become a fashion photographer.

Sharon’s decision to switch profession was fully formed when she started watching a series titled ‘America’s Next Top Model.’

According to her, “I loved how the pictures came out. So I keep telling myself it is either I’m taking pictures like that as the model or I am taking pictures of people like that.”

Per a report by Business Insider by Pulse, she loves travelling and taking pictures.

This, she says, compelled her to buy her first camera, quit her job and begin a career in photography.

Her family and friends refused to support her career choice as they feared she would end up destitute.

Sharon is however convinced that photography pays, especially if a good marketing strategy is implemented.

In other news, a video of a soldier leading a ‘jama’ session on his wedding day has caused a stir on the internet.

In the video, the soldier, whose identity is yet to be established, is seen wearing a white shirt, black vest, a white coat and black trousers.

His bride looked lovely as she walked down the stairs with him, wearing a white wedding gown and holding a bouquet of flowers.

People surrounding the couple were in high spirits as they participated in a call-and –response session with the soldier.

Some soldiers, dressed in uniform, were spotted directly behind the couple and played musical instruments. Social media have meanwhile reacted in various ways to the video.
