Asamoah Gyan injured again; ruled out for rest of the season

Black Stars striker, Asamoah Gyan has been ruled out again for the rest of the Indian football season following an injury.

The former Ghana captain got injured on December 28, 2019, while playing for his club, NorthEast United.

The match ended 1-1 draw between Gyan’s NorthEast United and Kerala Blasters.

His doctors say he is expected to be fit by end of February 2020.

Gyan has been impressive for his club, scoring four goals in eight games so far.

He joined the Indian side from Kayserispor in the Turkish topflight league 2019.

The 34-year-old has a splendid football career, playing for the Black Stars and in leagues like; Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1, the English Premier League and the UAE League.

The all-time top scorer for the senior national team is in Ghana at the moment. He was at the Accra Sports Stadium when Hearts of Oak played Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday, January 26, 2020.

Hearts lost the match by 1-2 to their arch-rivals, Asante Kotoko.
