9-year-old girl Ayana Ellick without hands wins 2 top national writing awards in USA

A 9-year-old amazing girl from Virginia called Ayana Ellick who was born in 2009 without hands has become a sensation after winning two national writing awards.

According to Face2FaceAfrica.com, the brilliant young girl won the Zaner-Bloser National Handwriting Contest as well as the Nicholas Maxim Special Award for Excellence in Manuscript Penmanship.

Zaner-Bloser is reportedly an Ohio-based company that publishes research-based handwriting, reading, writing, spelling and vocabulary programs.

Young and smart Ellick participated in the Zaner-Bloser National Handwriting Contest, entering under a special needs category where she emerged on top.

It is indicated that the passionate girl who was born to Bianca and Gary, literally taught herself how to write without her hands.

With no supervision or guidance, the young girl when she started growing up, found her own way to 'handle' daily house items and also how to use the pen.

The young girl who is described as a role model by one of her teachers was awarded a trophy together with $1,000 for her amazing talent and passion.

Ayana Ellick is interesting not the only 9-year-old Black child with amazing exploits. Just recently, YEN.com.gh reported that Camden Myers, a 9-year-old boy Black boy in the United States has set up Cam’s Coffee Creations which employs only people living with disabilities.

It is indicated that the staff at Camden Myers' Cam's Coffee Creations is made up of students from Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools who have disabilities.

The young boy himself suffered a traumatic brain injury when he was born. This challenge he suffered as well as the knack Camden has for business culminated into a strong drive for his business.
