Top gym instructor dies hours after jokingly posting about death on Facebook

Family and friends of fitness trainer Zablon Osiemo are in mourning following his death.

Zablon died on Sunday, January 26, after being involved in a fatal road accident.

Zablon was a great friend of renowned rapper Hubert Nakitare alias Nonini, who went on social media to mourn his death.

"Death is so unfair. How does this happen to my friend Zablon Osiemo. Rest well brother, we had 28 days to go on our fitness challenge," a sad Nonini wrote on Facebook.

The fitness trainer had embarked with Nonini on a 30 days fitness journey that drastically ended on the second day.

What struck netizens more was the trainer's last message before his tragic death.

Zablon went on Facebook, hours before his death, laughing off the ignorance shown in questions about his financial benefits of going to the gym.

He advised fans to always take care of their physical health which helped in avoiding deadly diseases.

Zablon was also a former participant in the Mister Kenya Body Building championship and emerged fifth position back in 2015.

He also held the title for Nairobi's light-weight category and was once the unbeaten Kenya lightweight champion.
