Sarkodie's 'Adonai' gets 70 million views; becomes Ghana's most viewed music video on YouTube

Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has hit a 70million views mark for the music video of his 'Adonai' song which features Castro.

Since its release 6years ago, the Adonai video which features Castro remains the most viewed music video on Youtube from Ghana.

Sarkodie's YouTube channel is managed by the MiPROMO Media Network, the same company managing the YouTube accounts of Shatta Wale, Joey B, Medikal and Empress Gifty among others.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Sarkodie had been ranked as the most mentioned Ghanaian celebrity on Twitter.

In a post by Global Ranking and sighted by YEN.com.gh, it stated that Twitter had named Sarkodie as the most mentioned person on Ghana Twitter with over 1.5 million mentions.

"According to twitter, the name Sarkodie was the most mentioned thing on Ghana Twitter. Sarkodie was mentioned over 1.5 million times," the post by Global Ranking stated.

What this implies is that Sarkodie has trended across Twitter through tags and retweets.

Currently, in Ghana, he is one of the few celebrities who has benefited from social media the most.

He recently thanked his fans for helping him become very influential through social media after winning the BET Awards.
