Popular American rapper, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has received a significant star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with celebrity appearances from Eminem and Dr Dre.

The In Da Club rapper was at the ceremony of the award on Thursday, January 30, where there were many people present, Metro UK reports.

The Power producer was dressed fancifully in a two-piece suit as he was joined by his friend and star actress Lala Anthony.

One of the highlights of the ceremony that got the former G-Unit member emotional was the speech his friend, Eminem, made in his support.

He said that even though he does not remember many things that happened in 2002, he has quite a clear memory of how he and 50 met.

The Toy Soldier legendary rapper also said one of the first few things he noticed about the celeb was that he was going to be a star.

Eminem added that he and Dre quite knew that if their method to success worked for them, then it would work for everybody, saying they are glad they trusted their instincts.

"Dre and me knew that if something worked on us, it was gonna work on the rest of the world and I’m glad we trusted our instincts…

“I just wanna say man, I’m here today because this is not only a business partner to me, it’s one of the best friends I’ve ever known in the world,” he said.

Em said that 50 has also helped him to get through many difficult times, making himself available whenever he needed him.

The rapper also took a jab at the Evanescence, the rock band that beat him to the best new artist of the Grammy Award in 2004, showing how underserving they were of the honour.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that WWE stars and twin sisters, Nikki and Brie Bella both got pregnant almost at the same time and they are only two weeks apart.

People who heard about the development have not stopped wondering how lovely it all is. One of the sisters, Brie, said people would never believe them that they never planned it, adding that they are both as shocked as other people are.

In other stories, YEN.com.gh reported that with his recent attempt to immortalise Stonebwoy with a near-perfect sculpture of the dance-hall artiste, Victor Kuutuome, a young Ghanaian sculptor has attracted the interests of major eyeballs with his latest creation.

The sculptor, professionally identified as Obama and a student at the University of Education, Winneba, displayed a mastery with a near compelling master piece of Stonebwoy.

Victor Kuutuome's stunning statue of Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has already dominated social media.
