WhatsApp Inc reveals Android and iOS devices its app will no longer work on
- Information available shows that Whatsapp will no longer function on selected devices starting from February 1, 2020
- According to the Facebook-owned platform, it will no longer develop features for the listed devices
- The devices affected include those running on Android versions 2.3.7 or older as well as iPhone iOS 8 and older

Popular messaging platform, WhatsApp, will no longer function on some Andriod and iOS devices.
Information available shows that the Facebook-owned application has stopped running on older versions of Android and iPhone iOS 8.
Per a report by businessinsider.com, the app can no longer develop features for specified devices, starting from Saturday, February 1, 2020.

Affected devices include those on Android versions 2.3.7 or older as well as iPhone iOS 8 and older.
WhatsApp will, however, make support systems available for Android devices running OS 4.0.3+, iPhone devices running iOS 9+, as well as phones running KaiOS 2.5.1+, including JioPhon and JioPhone 2.
In other news, the former chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) Charlotte Osei, has released a lovely photo to mark the celebration of her birthday.
A day after she turned 51 years, she took to social media to thank God for giving her such a special day.
She also took the opportunity to thank Ghanaians for all their good wishes on sent to her on her birthday.
To Charlotte, the celebration of a birthday is a chance to press on, right the wrongs and carve a better future.
