Zuma is a wanted man: Judge officially issues warrant of arrest
A warrant of arrest has officially been issued for former president Jacob Zuma. The KwaZulu-Natal High Court approved the state's request to take action after the politician failed to appear.

Former president Jacob Zuma has had a warrant of arrest issued against his name by the KZN High Court.
This follows some probing into the doctor's note that was provided to the court in relation to his absence due to 'illness'. Some details appear to have been adjusted and some are missing.
YEN.com.gh reported that the state's advocate Billy Downer had requested the warrant after the ex-president failed to appear in court.
Judge Dhaya Pillay has acceded to the request, staying the matter until 6 May when Zuma will be expected to appear.
Zuma's legal team had submitted documents to the court, insisting that Zuma had left the country in January to seek medical treatment for an undisclosed illness.

Downer requested information regarding this sickness, but the defence has failed to produce any details.
Dan Mantsha, representing Zuma in the matter, insists the ex-president's health is a matter of 'national security':
"It is absurd for the State to doubt admissibility of the medical note stamped by our own military official."
However, Pillay has raised questions over the sick note provided, probing visible alterations made, including an apparent date change.
The absence of a medical number was also a cause for concern, with no way to check the doctor's credentials.
