Former President John Mahama's son, Sharaf Mahama is currently training with Ghana Premier League side West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC.
According to a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on GHanasoccernet.com, Sharaf has been training with WAFA for some time now.
''Sharaf has been good and a wonderful kid. Very respectful and determined to succeed as a footballer. He's well-travelled but was impressed with the facilities here and that's a plus for us,'' the report quoted a source as saying.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Sharaf was seen standing with his training partner on a pitch.
Born some 24 years ago, Sharaf Mahama who mainly plays as a striker was known to have last played for German sixth-tier side Verbandsliga.
He first came in the news as a footballer after he signed for Belgian Jupiler League side KV Mechelen in 2016 when his father was still the president of Ghana.
Earlier in 2015, Sharaf had played in the testimonial former Black Stars captain at the Accra Sports Stadium.
YEN.com.gh previously reported how Sharaf recently flaunted some of the cars in their house.
