The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for the Klottey Korle constituency, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman Rawlings has donated some motorbikes to police stations in her constituency.

The daughter of Ghana’s former president on Thursday, February 6, 2020, presented seven motorbikes to four police stations in the Klottey Korle constituency.

The gesture by the legislator is to support the activities of the police in various ways towards effective policing duties.

She also urged the constituents and all Ghanaians to volunteer timely information to aid the work of the Ghana Police Service to enable them to fight crime effectively.

She has been involved in a lot of humanitarian activities. Zenator has led relief efforts to alleviate the plight of many victims of circumstance.

In June 2015, she led a team to donate relief items to victims of the flood disaster which took the lives of about 150 Ghanaians and displaced many.

She has also built a bridge for the Osu Anorhor community which has helped reduce the issue of floods and enabled easy transportation in the community.

Dr. Zanetor Rawlings is the eldest daughter of the 1st President under the 4th Republic of Ghana Jerry Rawlings (1993–2001) and former first lady Nana Konadu Agyeman.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that chaos broke at Ghana’s biggest hospital, Korle Bu on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, when two foreigners suspected to have the deadly coronavirus reported to the facility.

According to the head of the Public Health Department at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Dr Philip Amoo, the pandemonium was as a result of the lack of a well-resourced holding bay.
