Award-winning rapper Sarkodie has posted a rare emotional throwback video of when he was a nobody in the music industry.
The video shows a very young and skinny Sarkodie rapping in various studios, radio stations and also to his friends just to prove to them that he was the best.
The video sighted YEN.com.gh, Sarkodie shows the serious transition of how he looked like when he started his music career and where he has gotten to now.
The video summaries the 'before the fame' saying.
The 'Oofeetsɔ' hitmaker added a very powerful and emotional caption to the video saying "A lot of exciting news coming our way ... Thank you father I appreciate."

He posted the video a couple of hours after finally receiving his plaque for the 2019 BET Hip Hop Award he won.
However, his fans who were clearly amazed about the transformation Sarkodie has gone through could not help but thank God.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Sarkodie had received the plaque for the Best International Flow award he won at the 2019 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Hip Hop Awards.
Sarkodie was nominated alongside six other acts, Falz (Nigeria), Ghetts (U.K), Kalash (France), Lil Simz (U.K), Nasty C (South Africa) and Tory Lanez (Canada) and he became the first person to win the newly created category.

By this proud feat, he also became the first-ever Ghanaian to win an award at the BET Hip Hop Awards.
About three months after being announced as the winner, the rapper has finally laid his hands on the official plaque.

In a video sighted YEN.com.gh, Sarkodie gave fans the privilege of watching him unbox the prestigious award plaque after receiving it.

In the video shared on social media, expressed his appreciation to his fans as he unboxed the package.
“For a minute the package is in, it’s been sitting here finally I am here, I am about to see it, I want you guys to have the experience to see the Best International Flow award for Ghana. I won’t even say it’s for Ghana,” he said.
