Phiri was photographed carrying a school child over a stream early in the morning.
Ngoato revealed Phiri helps learners from Mathibela Village to cross over to school. Reports says it is not Phiri's job and he does it out of the kindness of his heart.
Phiri wakes up early, puts on his coat and helps the kids across the river.
