Former Arsenal and Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has completed a transfer move to Paraguayan side Club Olimpia as the club announced his signing on Tuesday evening.
Since he left Turkey, the former Togo international became free agent and there were reports linking him with a return to the Premier League.
Club Olimpia who are currently sitting fifth on the topflight standings in Paraguay want to fight for the title and they believe Emmanuel Adebayor is capable of helping them in front of goals.
Having played in the Premier League, Spanish La Liga, France and in Turkey, Emmanuel Adebayor has crossed many hurdles in his football career.
He is now expected to have a reunion with former teammate at Manchester City Roque Santa Cruz who has been at the club since four years ago.
Adebayor enjoyed most of his playing career at Arsenal where he played more than 100 Premier League games under Arsene Wenger failing to win any title.
So far in his career, Emmanuel Adebayor has only won one title which was the 2010/11 Copa del Rey with Spanish giants Real Madrid.
On international level, Emmanuel Adebayor played 87 games for Togo where he scored 32 goals for the African nation.
Earlier, YEN.com.gh had reported how Brazilian wonder-kid Gabriel Martinelli revealed that his mummy is still the one cooking for him since his move from Brazil to England.
The prodigy pulled the storm for Gunners under new manager Mikel Arteta and his impressive performance has seen him get into the target list of Real Madrid.
The 18-year-old attacker was handed a lovely start in Arsenal clash with Sheffield United in place of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who saw red in Crystal Palace tie.
He justified Arteta's confidence in him with a brilliant 45th-minute goal that almost gave Gunners a 3-point victory on Saturday night, January 18.
