Tottenham Hotspur return to Premier League action this weekend when they travel to Villa Park to battle Aston Villa.

The Lilywhites have not been in action in the league since February 5 following their 3-2 win over Southampton in the FA Cup fourth-round replay.

Meanwhile, one of their stars Eric Dier who has been granted a one-week holiday was spotted flying a low-budget £250 flight to Marrakesh and rest before action resumes this weekend.

The England international who earns about £60,000-a-week decided to opt for a cheap flight to north African country Morocco to enjoy his winter break.

Dier is not the only Spurs star on holiday as all other first-team players have also been granted leave before re-assembling before their weekend clash.

According to the Sun, passengers on the same flight were stunned to have found the midfielder on an economy ticket flight.

The publication further reported quoting one of the passengers: “It was odd to see him on an easyJet plane, but also very refreshing.

He had been playing the night before. It shows what a man of the people he is.”

Another flyer added: “He was happy to talk and we chatted about the game. “He then wished me a good holiday.”

One other fan said: "Why isn't he in business class?” And a third added: “Dier not first-class then.”

While the fourth person quipped: "Is he serving the drinks.”

After landing at his destination, Dier shared pictures of himself in the slum instead of an expensive lifestyle in the northern part of Morocco.

Although Spurs stars seem hopeful of a top-four finish, their manager Jose Mourinho seems to have shifted his attention to the coming season.
