Kennedy Asante Osei, the first son of Ghanaian business titan, Osei Kwame Despite has officially proposed to his long-time girlfriend on a plane.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the first son of one of Ghana’s most prominent media owners is set to get off the market.

With a dazzling smile on his face, Kennedy Asante Osei was captured on his knees putting a ring on Tracy's finger.

Kennedy and Tracy are said to have dated for some time now and have finally decided to make it official.

YEN.com.gh learnt the wedding will be in two folds, the official ceremony itself and the reception which is to be held later.

While the main wedding ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, February 13, 2020, the reception will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020. Both programmes will be held in Accra.

Amid the proposal and wedding announcement, details of how Kennedy met Tracy have been shared along with the video of Kennedy proposing to his ''Queen''.

''A young man meets a beautiful Damsel at a wedding and is love struck, they become friends and what emerges is a beautiful relationship born out of love and mutual respect,'' popular Ghanaian blogger Nkonkonsa wrote.

He added: ''Midway through a flight from a close pal’s wedding at Calabar in Nigeria, he proposes to his Queen in the presence of other close pals with the support of the Pilot and cabin Crew on board...Love Brewed in a true African pot!!'
