Ajax midfielder Hakim Ziyech has expressed happiness over a dream move to Chelsea, saying he is relishing the pleasure of new challenge that awaits him at Stamford Bridge amid towering expectation from Blues fans.
Ziyech agreed to a deal that would see him switch to Premier League in the summer for a fee reported to be £45 million.
A statement by Ajax on their official Twitter page suggested that Ziyech would be moving to Stamford Bridge in the next summer, ending reports linking him to other top clubs in Europe.
Chelsea failed to land the winger in the January transfer market but the deal has been finalised. The Morrocan arrival will be a massive boost for Chelsea who have been searching for Eden Hazard's worthy successor since he left for Real Madrid.
Ziyech is Frank Lampard's first signing since taking over as the head coach after the departure of Maurizio Sarri but the second since Chelsea survived a two-window transfer ban placed on them by FIFA.
“Very happy with my next step, but first I have some unfinished business to handle," Ziyech said on his Instagram page after the deal was officially announced.
"I hope to create just a few more beautiful memories than we already have."
The Moroccan emerged a transfer target for Blues following his stellar Champions League performance against Chelsea which ended in dramatic 4-4 draw.
Meanwhile, the Ziyech boasts an astonishing car collection, which includes 2 red Lamborghini: Lamborghini Aventador and Lamborghini Urus.
The 26-year-old also has a Mercedes-Benz SUV and a South African football favourite in a Volkswagen Golf GTI.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh had reported that Premier League giants Chelsea have been linked with a move to sign Cameroonian professional goalkeeper Andre Onana as a replacement for current number one Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Goalie Kepa Arrizabalaga has not been impressive this season for Chelsea and there have been calls from the Blues fans for him to be dropped to the bench due to his games.
And following series of unimpressive games this season for Chelsea, Frank Lampard was forced to drop Kepa Arrizabalaga for the encounter against Leicester City in the Premier League.
