The flagbearer of the biggest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama will be interacting with Ghanaians on his new campaign dubbed, SpeakOut Session.
“The SpeakOut with John Mahama will take place in all 16 regions of the country and serve as an opportunity for the NDC leader to meet, interact and listen directly to the people of Ghana,” the NDC said in a statement on Monday, February 17.
According to NDC, the former president will among others give the party flag bearer an opportunity to interact and appreciate the personal desires of the people.
“The SpeakOut initiative will help Mahama to understand the needs of communities and what they consider should be the priorities of government towards improving their standard of living and enhance social infrastructure.”
Mr. Mahama will be accompanied on the trips by the NDC 2020 Manifesto team.
The Committee is expected to take advantage of the tour to listen to the grassroots and incorporate their views into the 2020 manifesto.
He will kickstart the SpeakOut Session in the Western North Region on Tuesday, February 18. John Mahama will be in the Western North Region for three days.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) did the unthinkable when they held a press conference on the banks of River Pra at Twifo Praso in the Central Region to address issues on illegal mining (galamsey) in the country.
The presser which was addressed by the Communications Director of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi, was also attended by other top officials of the party.
Mr. Sammy Gyamfi challenged the NPP government to account for all the excavators, ammunitions and gold seized during the Stop the Galamsey campaign.
