Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo has delivered his fourth State of the Nation Address today [Thursday], February 20, 2020, in accordance with Article 67 of the 1992 constitution.

The president is obliged by the constitution to deliver at the beginning of each session of Parliament and before a dissolution of Parliament.

Similar to previous sessions, the 2020 State of the Nation Address gave the president the opportunity to account for his service over the last one year and also project the plans of the government for the coming year.

President Akufo-Addo touched on health, education, agriculture and the economy in general.

Following the delivery of the president’s State of the Nation Address, some Ghanaians have shared tons reactions on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Twitter user @Goglefame wrote: ''Herrr!!! Ghana is a joke !! The comedy am watching now the TV funny pass Lilwin’s fun videos I havd ever watched ,so these be leaders poor Ghana #SONA2020.''
