For someone who essentially stumbled into acting, Nana Ama Mcbrown has by far become an accomplished Ghanaian actress with a thriving career as a presenter.

Born Felicia Ama Agyemang in Kumasi on August 15, 1973, Mcbrown has blazed trails in the Ghanaian movie industry.

The prominent actress now TV presenter first launched her acting career when she featured in the movie That Day, by chance in 2001.

McBrown’s remarkable performance in the movie opened several acting opportunities following the movie's release.

The married mother of one has subsequently starred in many outstanding movies including Asoreba, Nnipa ye bad, My Own Mother, Friday and other award-winning films.

On the back of her admirable accomplishments, some social media users have taken to their platforms to celebrate the Ghanaian movie icon.

Andrews Owusu is one of many social media users who have showered accolades on Nana Ama McBrown.

He shared striking images of the actress which has earned tons of reactions.

''Best actress in Ghana. One of the best in Africa,'' Salif Johnson said in response to Andrews Owusu's post.

Opoku Boakye Yiadom wrote: ''She was #1 in Asoreba. The best Ghanaian movie I've ever watched.''

Abena Lioness said: ''I love her... she's ridiculously amazing and hilarious.''

''My favorite actress of all time. Matter of fact, one of my favorite celebrities of all time. The day I meet this woman eh, I don’t know what I will do,'' Mariamma Ohemaah Owusu disclosed.

Meanwhile, Nana Ama Mcbrown recently shared a photo of her daughter to mark her birthday. This is the first time McBrown is showing her baby’s face since she was born on February 21, 2019.
