Veteran Ghanaian actress Grace Omaboe, commonly known as Maame Dokono, has claimed that it is a curse for a man to wash a female’s underwear.
According to her, whether married or not, a man should never ever wash his wife’s pants, labelling that as a sign of bad luck.
Maame Dokono noted that the man is the head of the family, therefore stooping that low to wash the woman’s underwear would cause him to lack in life.
“Things will not go well for any man who washes his wife’s underwear,” Maame Dokono reportedly said in reports seen by YEN.com.gh making rounds on social media.
“It will have spiritual implications and everything of the man will not go on well for him," Maame Dokono said.
Asked what she would do if her own son happens to wash her wife’s underwear, Maame Dokono threatened that she will slap and beat the hell out her son if she should ever see him washing the pants of his wife because that is not his duty as the man of the house.
“I will take the things from my son and slap him with it. I will ask him if he’s a fool to be washing his wife’s pants, I will ask him that Kwabena are you a fool?” she said.
Maame Dokono was last in the news when she opened up on her love affair with colleague actor David Dontoh.
