Two blind men simply identified as Attah who is 52 years old and Kofi who is 42 have narrated how their wives cheated on them, got pregnant for other men and eventually left them as a result.
In an interview with Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng of Crime Check TV, the two friends indicate that they beg for alms on the street which is their only source of sustenance.
Attah, in particular, who is a father of 3 said he begs on the street with her son. According to Attah, his routine is to come from his hometown to Accra with his son and beg for two days which he then uses to care for the family over the next week.
Watch the video below:
The 52-year-old made it clear that on good days, he and the son accrue 30 cedis a day and 20 cedis on bad days.
Speaking about how his wife cheated and got pregnant for another man before leaving, Attah reveals that he had no knowledge whatsoever about his wife's misdeeds until friends told him that she got pregnant, gave birth and brought the child to the town.
When it was Kofi's turn to speak, the 42-year-old started by indicating how he got blind in the first place.
The blind man recounted that back in school, a colleague student accidentally hit his eyes when he was only 16 and the eyes gradually deteriorated until he could not see any longer after a year.
The circumstances of the two friends appeared very similar as Kofi also revealed he has three children who now live with him after his wife got pregnant for another man and abandoned them later.
Upon hearing all of this, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng the interviewer wondered why some spouses would promise to live with their partners for better and for worse but later leave them to seek greener pastures.
