The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi) has opined that the NDC and their flag bearer, John Dramani Mahama will be ‘beaten’ by President Akufo-Addo like Tyson Fury did against Deontay Wilder.

The vociferous party chairman noted that the NPP, will emerge victors in the upcoming December 2020 polls.

According to Chairman Wontumi, the success of President Akufo-Addo in managing Ghana’s economy makes him battle-ready against the former President Mahama who is only remembered by electorates as someone who flourished acts of corruption under his tenure.

"It is going to be like the heavyweight match between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. Mahama would be beaten mercilessly by President Akufo-Addo.

“Just like Wilder believed in his right hand as his main weapon, Mahama believes in lies but Akufo-Addo will deal ruthlessly with him just like it was done to Wilder,” Chairman Wontumi said.

He also noted that John Mahama will concede defeat before the entire votes in the 2020 polls are counted.

President Akufo-Addo and the NPP believe that they have delivered on their promises made to Ghanaians and are asking for four more years.
