Our Manifesto: This is what YEN.com.gh believes in

Being more than just a cloth, Kente is a powerful visual representation of the Ghanaian history, social values, among others and actress Nana Ama McBrown amplified these features during her daughter Maxin’s one-year birthday.

Nana Ama McBrown highlighted the visual outlook of Kente and the beautiful African beads she and Maxin wore while marking her child’s birthday.

Even at a very young age, Mcbrown is teaching her daughter to appreciate one of the key symbols of the Ghanaian heritage, pride, its history, powerful narrative and cultural Ghanaian ethics.

While it may not be immediately known to the mother or child, one could tell the prestige, nobility and cultural sophistication in the photos McBrown splashed on social media as she proudly celebrated her child’s birth as a mother.

If a picture tells a thousand stories or words, then the award-winning told many stories with the photos.

McBrown’s social standing, marital status and being a mother are all deeper connotations embedded in the photos as she showed the face of her one-year-old daughter to the world for the first time.

The mother of one warmed the hearts of social media users when she showed the face of her beautiful daughter Baby Maxin as she celebrated her first birthday on February 21, 2020.

In other stories, YEN.com.gh previously reported that Togolese football star Emmanuel Adebayor and his bosom Ghanaian friend Funny Face have been spotted in fun moments together with some colleagues in a footage online.

Although it is not too clear whether the event took place before Adebayor lit up social media with a white 4-wheel-drive gift to Funny Face, it is being circulated on social media.

The club Olimpia striker asked the Ghanaian comic actor to go to his house and pick any car from his multimillion-dollar fleet of cars.

Funny Face shared a video of social media of himself selecting his preferred car from a line-up of luxury cars including Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Mercedes Benz, G-Wagon, Bentley, Porsche Panameras among other expensive cars and settled on a white 4-wheel-drive.
