Popular Ghanaian Afro-pop singer and songwriter Noella Wiyaala builds a massive Arts Center at Funsi in the Upper West Region of Ghana where she grew up.

The renowned celebrity who sings in her native language Sissala and Waala dialects, as well as English, broke the news on her official Instagram handle when she shared a video of the Wiyaala Art Center which is under construction.

Reports indicate that she got the first singing lessons from her mother who served as a choir singer in the local church.

The recent move to build a place where the rich culture of her place of birth would be portrayed mainly to educate foreigners and visitors is rather profound and laudable.

It is always inspiring to see popular icons come down to earth and go out of their ways to give back to society and improve living conditions.

Not long ago, YEN.com.gh reported that Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall and reggae singer Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy had finally released photos of his BHIM shop at Ashaiman.

It would be recalled that after the shop was opened, YEN.com.gh reported on the prices of the products that were at the shop but the photos were never shared.

From the photos seen by YEN.com.gh, the products – shirt, slippers, and Lacoste, all have Stonebwoy’s signatures appended on them.
