President Akufo-Addo has been very honest and open to issues confronting the country in several ways, as he has opened up about how hard things are in the country.
He said he would be lying to Ghanaians if he proclaims that he has turned the country into a paradise.
Addressing some Ghanaians in Oslo, he said, despite the fact that there’s still a lot of work to be done, the country is currently on the right track to development as t has seen a major facelift in the last three years since he took over from the previous government.
“There’s a lot of work we still need to do to bring Ghana up to where we want to be. I’m not going to say we've created in these three years in Ghana paradise, it’s a lie, I’ll never make that claim…” Addo said.
Akufo-Addo further stated that his government has done enough to restore investor confidence in Ghana’s economy.
He said the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has managed the economy far better than the erstwhile John Mahama administration ever did.
In other news, some irate New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives and supporters in the Assin Central Constituency are threatening to vote out their Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong if he doesn’t stop insulting them.
According to the Central Regional NPP party people, the incumbent MP is fond of abusing them verbally.
