Ghanaian Rapper Yaa Pono says he has made it clear to his family that when he dies someday, he does not want any musician to come and perform at his funeral.
In an interview on Okay FM which was monitored by YEN.com.gh Yaa Pono added that he does not even want any music to be played at his funeral when he dies.
"Let me make this clear to Ghanaians,” he said. “I’ve told my father, aunt and elder sister that, God forbid if I die no music should be played at my funeral. No music there I’m tired of music. No musician should step in there to perform. That’s my death wish,” Yaa Pono stated.
The 'Amen' hitmaker made this comment on the back of events that happen when celebrities, especially musicians die.
What has almost become a tradition when Ghanaian musicians die it that, several other musicians come to sing that their one-week celebrations and or funerals.
But it appears Yaa Pono will have none of that.
