The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has declined a debate request by NDC MP for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo.

The governing NPP has declined the debate challenge between Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NDC MP, saying the legislator is unfit to engage the Veep in a debate on economics.

According to NPP Communicator, Maame Yaa Aboagye, Dr. Bawumia is busy fixing the chaos and mess created by the Mahama-led administration.

She also opined that the brilliance and intelligence exhibited by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia constantly gives the opposition headaches.

“It appears Dr Bawumia is a headache and nightmare to the opposition NDC. As for Adongo’s challenge, I can tell with all authority that Dr. Bawumia is simply unmatched for him,” Maame Yaa Aboagye.

She advised Mr. Adongo to look for his match if he wants a debate.
