According to the NDC MP, President Akufo-Addo and his entourage must be taken through the mandatory 14-day quarantine process after they return to the country from his tour of Europe.

Ras Mubarak says his call is due to the fact that the President visited some European countries where there are cases of the deadly Covid-19 disease.

He also called for the Ghana Health Service to extend their services and checks on MPs who are currently on assignment to countries with reported cases.

Could my honourable friends confirm whether upon arrival in the country from his European tour, his excellency the President will be quarantined? Mr. Speaker, I say so because the President of Mongolia has been quarantined for the 14-day mandatory period and Mr. Speaker, his excellency the President has visited Norway which has recorded a case of Coronavirus. It will be very helpful to get information as to when his excellency will be quarantined when he arrives in the country.

According to the group their call is on the back of signs of flu and cold showed by the Ghana President during the State of the Nation Address.
