Watford vs Liverpool: Ismaila Sarr and Deeney sink Jurgen Klopp's men 3-0

- Watford vs Liverpool game ended in a 3-0 defeat for Reds at Vicarage Road

- Ismaila Sarr pulled the trigger twice to put an end to Liverpool's unbeaten run

- Troy Deeney also bagged a goal to lift Watford off the relegation-threatened zone

Liverpool's unbeaten run in the Premier League was put into a sudden cessation after the Reds suffered a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Hornets at the Vicarage Road on Saturday, February 29.

Jurgen Klopp's men got a firm grip of the game initially but a couple of defensive errors saw Watford cruise to a comfortable victory before their home fans.

Senegalese forward Ismala Sarr produced a man-of-the-match performance by putting Liverpool on the edge of dagger twice in what appears to be one of the greatest performances from him.

The 22-year-old show an impressive load of promises by pulling the trigger twice to break Liverpool's hope of matching Arsenal's Invincible record.

The first half of the game ended in boring stalemate but Sarr proved too tough for Liverpool's defence, getting the job done for Watford in the 54th minute, all thanks to Abdoulaye Doucoure's wonderful assist.

Liverpool looked like a side to stimulate a comeback but a defensive error saw Troy Deeney shot the ball to Sarr from the edge of throw-in line, leaving van Dijk on a fruitless run as the Senegalese lifted the ball over Alisson Becker.

As if that was not enough, Watford also took advantage of Liverpool's porous defence with Troy Deeney firing the third goal for Liverpool in the 73rd minute.

The 31-year-old England forward blasted a fine strike into the net after Sarr gave him a wonderful assist to become the first player to get involved in three goals against Liverpool this season.

Liverpool still remain the leaders of the Premier League but the victory means Watford is one point adrift of the relegation zone.
