Oprah Winfrey falls on stage while teaching crowd about balance, healthy living

Media mogul Oprah Winfrey learnt this while delivering a powerful speech on balance and the importance of observing good health and wellness.

A video of the 66-year-old philanthropist taking a tumble while on stage has made rounds on the internet leaving people worried she could be suffering from something.

While addressing a huge crowd on issues surrounding balance, Oprah missed a step while walking around the stage and fell with a thud.

The eloquent speaker still had her mic in her hands and did not let the embarrassing moment block her from connecting with her listeners.

She then got up and joked that maybe she wore the wrong shoes that day.

The elderly tycoon was on her Your Life Your Focus tour when she tripped in front of thousands of people.

“Wellness to me means all things in balance, and balance does not mean all things are equal or at peace at all times,” she said before she slipped and fell.

Her partner Stedman Graham quickly bolted to the stage to make sure his lady was fine and had not injured herself.

The mogul even went back on stage but with a change of shoes.

She took off her high heels and put on a pair of comfortable sneakers before interviewing actress and singer Jennifer Lopez.

To clear the air, Oprah assured her fans she was fine and had sustained minor injuries that were healing faster than she expected.

She posted a message on Instagram saying she did not view her tumble as something embarrassing as everyone knows what falling is.

“I did not even think embarrassing, I just thought okay I fell, everybody knows what falling is. You would prefer not to fall, but now I have fallen,” she told People.
