45-year-old single mom of 4 who worked as house help to finally graduate with PhD

In 2005, Tebello Mofokeng's mother passed away and she decided to change her life.
At the time, Mofokeng worked as a domestic worker and she sold sandwiches for a GHC 750 per week to feed her children.

In 2006, she landed a proper job that paid at least GHC 26,000 but she wanted more and two years later, Mofokeng enrolled in university at the age of 33.
Juggling a job and three children while studying proved to be difficult and it took her several years before she graduated with her bachelor of commerce degree in Management in 2015.
"In 2017 I registered for my honours. I completed them in one year. 2018 I graduated with bachelor of commerce in Business Management," she wrote.
Mofokeng found her purpose and she became a motivational speaker at a local radio station.

She has since enrolled in another degree and is on her way to complete her PhD.
Mofokeng said:
"Through the eyes of man having studied history and bibs at school, it was impossible to achieve what I have achieved. I serve a God of impossibilities. God who qualifies the unqualified."

She advised women not to pull each other down adding that her trust in God was what kept her going and never gave up.
Mofokeng also regretted not trusting and thanking God in her struggles as she had come to know better in the present, hoping that it will help her in the future.
In other news, Judge Shanta Owens and Judge Shera Grant, two stunning black twin sisters, are reported as the first identical twins to serve simultaneously a district court judges at Jefferson County in the United States.
Blackculturenews.com reports that the two ladies made history between 2014 and 2016. It is indicated that Grant was elected to Jefferson County District Court, place 5, in November 2016.
Her sister, Owens on the other hand, was re-elected to Jefferson County Drug Court in 2014. It is indicated that Judge Shanta herself swore the twin sister Judge Shera into office.
