In his quest to win political power, John Dumelo, NDC’s parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency went on a door-to-door campaign on the University of Ghana campus in Accra.
The actor, turned politician has intensified his campaign ahead of the parliamentary polls in December 2020.
He has been doing all sorts of things to win the hearts and minds of electorates in the constituency.
From donating to the needy, widows, to paying school fees of the brilliant but needy in the constituency Dumelo appears to be doing it all.
On Tuesday, March 3, 2020, Dumelo continued with his campaign on the premier university’s campus and a photo that has emerged on social media showed the wannabe legislator plaiting the hair of a female student.
This is not the first time a politician has done the unthinkable for votes in Ghana. In the build up to the 2016 general elections, politicians did all manner of things to show the electorates they care.
Ahead of the December 7 polls the politician will do the unimaginable to convince the ordinary people that they care.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has started vetting parliamentary aspirants for the 2020 elections and already, some interesting developments are coming up.
In the Ablekuma West constituency, the vetting committee of the NPP, failed Mr. Albert Kan Dapaah Jr.
Mr. Dapaah Jr was contesting incumbent Member of Parliament, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful to become the parliamentary candidate for the constituency.
