Peter Mutabazi is a lifesaver who rescued 13-year-old Anthony's life after the kid was abandoned by his adoptive parents when he was 11 years old.

Before he was adopted by those who would later abandon him, Anthony, now Anthony Mutabazi was previously abandoned by his birth parents when he was just 2 years old.

His new adoptive father adopted him two years after he was abandoned the second time, NZ Herald reports.

YEN.com.gh gathers that Anthony's new father also had a rough upbringing while growing up in a village on the Ugandan-Rwandan border.

Peter, who grew up in poverty, was a victim of an abusive father - he had to run away from home at the age of 10 before migrating to the United States.

According to report, over the past three years, Peter cared for 12 kids aged between 2 and 11.

Speaking of Anthony, Peter told Good Morning America: "He's the nicest, smartest kid I've ever had."

"Once I knew the parents' rights were signed off and he had nowhere to go, I [knew] I had to take him.

"I had the room, the resources, so I had no reason to let him go.

"For what someone did for me I wanted to do something for someone else."

Peter said Anthony has always called him dad from day one, adding that the kid is proud to show him in school and say "Hey, he's my dad".

He said: "That's something that I love about him."

According to Peter, Anthony first arrived at his home at 3am and when he brought him to his room, he saw a toy on the floor and politely asked if he could play with it.

Anthony added: "It just warmed my heart that he asked, and he called me sir. Right then, I knew I am going to adopt this kid."

In other news, YEN.com.gh previously reported that Saahene Osei, the youngest son of Osei Kwame Despite’s has for the first time in weeks shared contents including a photo of himself on Instagram after he served as one of the groomsmen at his brother, Kennedy Osei’s wedding.

In spite of being owners of one of Ghana’s biggest media empires, Osei Kwame Despite and his family including Saahene Osei have managed to stay out from the spotlight for years and hardly grab national attention on the waves of scandals.

Despite makes the news when he offers laudable donations to state institutions or to charity. His children, also hardly dominate the news for the wrong reasons.
