Former president and current flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has taken time off his campaign trail to celebrate his wife, Lordina Mahama as she marks her birthday.
Today, March 6, 2020, marks the birthday of the former first lady and the former president took time to celebrate his wife with a post on social media.
After posting a photo of Lordina Mahama with the inscription, 'Happy Birthday Mrs Lordina Dramani Mahama', John Mahama captioned the photo with romantic words which read, "You are my World. Happy Birthday".

What has fascinated most people is the fact that Mahama woke up or probably stayed up till 12am to make the post.
It appeared he wanted to be the first person to celebrate the love of his life on such a memorable day in her life.
Another truth that no one can ignore is the fact that the former first lady's birthday falls on the same day as Ghana's Independence Day, March 6.
Mrs Mahama was born on March 6, 1963, six years after Ghana had gained her independence.
Fans and followers of the former president could not keep calm as they also took to the comment section to celebrate Mrs Mahama.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that President Nana Akufo-Addo has stated the reason why he is so bent on building the National Cathedral which he believed was pivotal to the development of Ghana.
Ghana's performance against neighbouring countries is solely by the grace of God, the president is believed to have claimed.
