NDC is “empty”; they have no ideas - Samira Bawumia

- Samira Bawumia jabs NDC, says opposition party has no ideas and policies to offer the country

Second Lady, Samira Bawumia has described the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) as a party bereft of ideas.

According to her, the alternative to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is “empty”.

She noted that the NPP has what it takes to lead Ghana to economic freedom and prosperity.

In an interview on Accra based Asempa FM, the Second Lady said the NPP will win the 2020 elections because the NDC has no better policies for the people of Ghana.

She opined that the NPP has worked hard and proven to Ghanaians they deserve another term in office.

Samira Bawumia also noted that the NDC’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama has not change and is still the same old incompetent person.

She reiterated that the former president is as incompetent, as he was while in power.

She also bemoaned the sorry state the economy was in when it was bequeathed to the Akufo-Addo administration, saying the Nana Addo-led Government has done very well rescuing the economy from that dungeon to one of safety.

Mrs Bawumia played a key role in NPP’s 2016 campaign, visiting many communities to campaign for the party.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the top hierarchy of the Ghana Army has revealed that the soldiers who were captured as escorts in uniforms at the marriage ceremony of rapper Medikal have been arrested and being investigated.

According to a statement signed by the head of public relations GAF, Colonel Eric Aggrey Quarshie, the soldiers are under arrest, pending investigations.

He noted that the soldiers were at the wedding ceremony without approval or permission from their superiors in their uniforms.
