Second Lady Samira Bawumia has revealed her husband’s favourite meal in a radio interview.
Samira disclosed that Dr. Bawumia’s best food is cocoyam with garden eggs stew.
She noted that the Vice President is not only an advocate of Ghanaian foods but actually eats them too.

She also disclosed that preparing Bawumia’s favourite food was her trump card in getting her wishes fulfilled when the Vice President gets home.
She also said that she prepares the food for Bawumia herself.
Mrs. Bawumia was speaking on Accra-based Asempa FM.
The Second Lady also took a jab at the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), saying the party was bereft of ideas.
She said there was no way the NPP was going to lose the 2020 elections to the NDC because the opposition has no better ideas for the country.

“The alternative to NPP is empty,” Samira said.
She added that the NPP has worked hard and excelled, so they deserve another term come December 7, 2020.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that deputy information minister, Pius Enam Hadzide has stated that it is compulsory for former president John Dramani Mahama to attend every national event.
According to Hadzide, the former president in the event of his inability to grace a national event is mandated to explain to Ghanaians, his reasons for not attending.
His comments come after an aide to former president John Mahama, Stan Dogbe, said it was not mandatory for a leader of a political party or a former president to attend each and every event.
