While it may appear that visually-impaired musicians are somewhat challenged from realising their full creative potential and limited from exploiting other aspects of their lives, Ebenezer Novi challenges these perceptions.
Born blind, 29-year-old Ebenezer, a former student at the Akropong School for the Blind has gone back to his Alma matter not as student but as a pianist.
Ebenezer Novi reveals that he is an old student of the school for the blind and the choirmaster is his teacher.
He revealed that the choirmaster trained and so her went back to help.
At 18, Novi started learning how to play the piano and over the years, he has perfected the skill.
Although he is not the first blind musician, he is one of the few to support himself for ten years.
However, his remarkable strides have not been without challenges. Ebenezer admits he’s had to deal with some setbacks.
He revealed that because of his inability to see, he makes little flops here and there.
At this point of his thriving career, Ebenezer needs all the support he could get from the public to help him impact society.
He is pleading for support from individuals to help him establish a recording studio since he is also practising sound engineering and singing.
