Woman caught driving stolen vehicle claims to be singer Beyoncé Knowles

A 48-year old woman identified as Surena Henry has been arrested for driving a stolen car. KFOX14 reported that when she was arrested, Surena claimed to be popular American singer Beyonce Knowles.

It was reported that the owner of the car reported to the police that his property was missing. A few hours later, a police officer spotted the car and it was being driven by Surena.

When the police stopped her, she refused and kept on driving. According to her, she did not feel like stopping.

Surena confessed to finding the key in the car. She stated that she took the keys and decided to take the car for a happy ride.

It was reported that when Surena was first arrested, she refused to tell the policemen her real name. She told police officers that she was singer Beyonce Knowles until they had to use a fingerprint scanner to identify her.

The woman has been charged with unlawful taking of a car, hiding her identity and resisting arrest. According to reports, Surena was arrested in March 2019 and January 2020 for having stolen cars in her care.

In a related event, a lady narrated how a thief refused to come down from her ceiling. The lady who was identified as @iamteedora took to social media to cry out after a thief climbed into her ceiling and refused to come out. She stated that a neighbour noticed some noise in her apartment and called her.

She came home and discovered someone in her ceiling. Despite all efforts by her neighbours and some area boys, the thief refused to come out. She even alleged that he threw fire down when police officers arrived at the scene and confronted him.
