According to Member of Parliament for Assin Central, the outbreak of the virus is a serious issue that no one must joke with.
In an interview on NET 2 TV and monitored by YEN.com.gh, Kennedy Agyapong said the pastors need to step aside so that people can think properly on how to deal with the virus should it show its ugly head in Ghana.
“I am hitting sixty very soon so I’ve decided to control my temper and how I react to some issues but there are some people who are worth my insults. Even the word Coronavirus he could not mention it but he says he’s had the cure. That Pastor who is in Tema… Obinim. You see this kind of indoctrination. The thing is spreading so I beg of my brothers and sisters who are Pastors. We don’t have to joke” he said.
Kennedy Agyapong's comment comes after a video that went viral some few days ago of the leader of God’s Way Chapel International Bishop Obinim saying that he has been able to secure oil that fights against “Codora” virus.
Obinim later came out with another video to say that the "fake is news" to mean that the video was fake.
Kennedy Agyapong's comments come on the back of a leaked video of a romantic conversation between National Security Minister Albert Kan Dapaah and an alleged side chick identified as Chantelle Kujawu.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, he alleged that the TV Presenter in question links the slay queens to the big men for cash and favours and later turns around to blackmail these big men.
