Our Manifesto: This is what YEN.com.gh believes in

BB Frederick, Senior Pastor of Omega Revival Centre recently made profound statements regarding the recent move by Ghana's president to close down all public gatherings including churches.

It would be recalled how YEN.com.gh earlier reported that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had in a Facebook live video announced that all public and private schools including universities and churches were to be suspended from March 16, 2020, for the next four weeks.

In response, Prophet BB Frederick said " ...Please Mr President, We have a God ooo, and we believe in our God. I put it to you, the Church of God has the answer to Covid-19...If you dare me, put together all affected personnel and let me call on my God, and see if they won't be healed."

YEN.com.gh sought to find what Ghanaians made of the prophet's opinion in contrast to the president's orders and a number of rather interesting reactions were gathered.

Asonaba Kwesi Wusu III debunked the prophet's opinion completely, stating vehemently that closing of churches does not interrupt the church being a solution: "Closing Down church doesn't mean you can't pray ,prayer is the only true option, don't end our race with deception"

2. According to Nana Owusuah Prempeh, the solution needed is not the church at all. In her own words, "The church isn't our solution Sir. God is. And He(God) isn't also our 'last' solution. He is our only solution. Asofo) a moaba ne sika p3 bone!"

Alhaji Zak was one of the few people who decided not to dispute the opinions of the prophet: "Though I’m not here to dispute what you said, but the fact remains the same as no prophet/s has travelled to China to help them."

Stephen Agbeko Dadoho sounded like one of the people who came to say what everyone is scared to utter: "He is scared of losing on his yearly target of the tithe. We will stay in our rooms and pray. After all, I'm the temple of God, not your building".

Bernard Enchil Essel confronted the prophet head-on, saying: "Masa stop the nonsense. The white that brought u that God u are enjoying offerings from has taken this step or do u think that God loves u more than the one who introduced Him to u??"

In other news, a young boy whose name has not been disclosed was spotted in a rather funny video at school - The young boy was sighted stranded and alone at the school, visibly surprised by the extent of emptiness in the school

This comes on the back of Nana Addo's declaration for schools to be closed until further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic.
