The white wedding of veteran Kumawood actress Kyeiwaa has been postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak in the United States, YEN.com.gh has gathered.

Kyeiwaa, known in private life as Rose Mensah aka Akua Ataa, was expected to hold a church wedding on Saturday, March 21, 2020.

As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Kyeiwaa got married to Michael Kissi Asare in a simple ceremony in the United States.

The couple has scheduled March 21, 2020, to complete their marriage ceremony with a white wedding at the Good Shepherd Methodist Church at Harrington Way in Worcester, Massachusetts.

But according to a report YEN.com.gh sighted on Zionfelix.net, the wedding has been postponed indefinitely because of the Coronavirus scare.

Just like Ghana has suspended public gatherings over the outbreak, the United States government also directed that no gathering of more than 25 be held.

With someone like Kyeiwaa wedding, there were going to be more than 25 people in attendance hence the decision to postpone.

The postponement comes as a big blow as Kyeiwaa had already held a plush bridal shower ahead of her special day.

Meanwhile, the 57-year-old Kyeiwaa's marriage to Kissi Asare came off just a little over two months after YEN.com.gh reported that the actress had fallen in love once again almost five years after her abortive wedding to Daniel Osei.

As carried in the report, Kyeiwaa made the revelation during an interview with Kwaku Manu on his Aggressive Interview and indicated that she was going to get married soon.
